Short Semester In University Malaya and Semester Break?

So now is the semester break for all the local universities in Malaysia. I guess all of us. One of my relatives asked me what are you going to do for your long holidays? I was like heck yeah I'm going to lay on the bed all day with internet and my read all of my unread books for years.

Plus, it has been really long year for me because the last holidays was a wreck because I failed one of the subject I took and I need to take a short semester. My internship took 6 months whatsoever. So I don't have any holidays. Crap. I will remember you forever Dr.Ling. Hahaha.

This semester break also seems like a short holidays as I need to do my final year project or known as ippi (Innovative Product Project Initiative). So I need to go back earlier. *cried .Sorry but it sounds awful. Honestly I hate it. We are the first batch introduced with ippi. I wonder why our faculty don't wanna stick with the old final year project. Seriously.

But I still try to find the silver linings in this ippi. For my junior who may or may not read this. Embrace it. You guys may disagree or angry a bit, but there is no point at all. You need to do it anyway. So do it with heart wide open (trying to motivate myself, actually).

So for those who failed and need to take a short semester in University of Malaya. My tips are:

  1. Find a college. Kk12 provide some.
  2. You need to use your own money. So keep the extra money you have. Don't overspend.
  3. The fee for one subject is approximately RM300++ if im not mistaken. Foods, college fees and faculty fee for one and the half month is RM1000++.
  4. Don't give up. My cgpa does increase a bit though :)

So that's all. Thank you for reading all these crap. :)

Appreciating Life

Appreciating Life

Currently when I'm writing this, I'm really stressful dealing with my final year project, assignment and mid-term exam. My life is total mess right now. I've been dizzy for three days. But I knew these things are not going to end. So, I give myself with a little treat by watching YouTube videos. I love watching TheFineBros video and I came across Tommy Edison or also known as blind film critic. He is so positive and such an inspire man.

A little intro about Tommy, who has been blind since birth. It means that he did not be able to see anything since he was born. I could not even imagine how he feels like. But for Tommy, whom also work in Radio Station, it is normal for him. For him, a sight is a mind blown thing that a human can do. A simple thing like catch a ball, blown his mind off. Isn't that cute?

There is one time I helped a blind man using LRT (or known as subway). He grabbed my hand so tightly and I'm blushed for no reason. Well, I never met a blind guy before. I never help one before. So, I never know how to guide a blind person. After awhile watching Tommy's video, I finally know that holding someone arm is the way blind people do. Not us holding them. They hold us so that they can feel the way.

By the way, what I'm going to highlight here is that how ungrateful we are, human being with a sight. I mean I do complain a lot with my disability with blurry vision which require me to wear glasses or contact lens. But I still can see although it is not perfect. We took our vision for granted. We don't appreciate our vision that much as we born with sight, so we felt like it was nothing we should appreciate with.

Sometimes, we gave up in life so easily. We took our life for granted. Recently, there is a news about a student that want to suicide in my faculty. He/she posted it on one of our university confession about how hard he feels right at the moment. I don't blame him 100%. But maybe 50% is his fault for giving up so easily, while he is still so young and has a lot of things more that he hasn't face yet.

Life is hard. Life is not fair. Life is cruel. But that is life. Nobody said that it is going to be easy. Maybe it is easy for some people. But trust me, most of us don't have an easy life. We fall and we get up. We might failed for 1000 times. But if we keep moving forward we will succeed.
