Road To Sabah

My journey to Sabah.

Well I supposed to write this thing 6 months ago because I went to Sabah on January. If this story is a bread, it would have expired long time agoπŸ˜‚

So anyway let’s get started. When I arrived at Sabah, it was about 9.00 am, I took a flight at 6 am from KLIA. I waited for my friend for 30 minutes because her flight from Penang. Bear in mind, you need to present your passport/ic and you will get this pass. Keep it properlyπŸ˜…

After reach at Kota Kinabalu Airport, we straight away get our rent car. We booked a Produa Bezza Car, RM130 per day from  En.Ali, he was somehow my friend’s father acquaintance. The car was great, it was new with Eco technology, so we saved budget on the fuel. If interested, can whatsapp him on 0138080771.

After getting the car, we drove to Lok Kawi Wildlife Park. Well.. I’m really craving about animals, so I get pretty excited. They have bears,  savannah cat and some bird that I’ve never seen in my whole life. It looks like a penguin πŸ˜‚.

After that, we at at a nearby restaurant. During the lunch, I remembered a conversation with my sabahan friend, she said that most food here serve with soup. I found that interesting. Wherever you go or eat, there will always a small bowl of soup servedπŸ˜…. P/s: they call tomyum as tomyum soup.

Next, we checked in into our hotel, OYO 564 with the price of RM78 per night. On the evening, we went to Pasar Filipina. We ate a grill seafood and some seaweed salad. Bear in mind, if you take a lobster, it would cost around RM90-RM100 per lobster. Well my bad, I thought it was cheap πŸ˜’. However, the it was really tasty. So, I was happy in the end although it cost me more than RM100 just for dinner. We also bought some amplang and kuih cincin to bring back to Semenanjung.

The next day, we drove to Kundasang. We wasn’t really a good planner per se. But we got lucky when our journey was planned out nicely when we bought a ticket at Rumah Terbalik , that combined the places that we should go. So, we only paid once (around RM40) and we can visit all the place. So if you from Kota Kinabalu and want to back to Kota Kinabalu after that, the sequence should be like this:

  1. Rumah Terbalik
  2. Kundasang War Memorial Park
  3. Desa Dairy farm (exclude the ticket list)
  4. Sabah Tea Resort
  5. Tagal Luanti Fish Massage
  6. Chanteek Borneo Gallery (near Kota Kinabalu)
  7. Lok Kawi Wildlife Park (before/after go to Kundasang)

After all I think I will go Sabah again, only to view the sea. Most people said the see is to die forπŸ˜….

So that’s all, I hope I can visit Sabah again😍.
